This is the where we list our various events, from the routine to the extraordinary... Club Meetings: Held on the 2nd Monday of every month, except January (Banquet), July, August(Barbeque), and December. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. and are hosted by Airedale Antics, 7316 Manchester Ave., Maplewood, MO 63143. See the Links page for a link to their web site with directions. Annual Events: "Guest Dog of the Week" at the AKC Museum of the Dog At this event you'll get the chance to see our smilin' Samoyeds gracing the halls and grounds of the AKC Museum of the Dog. This special event will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The AKC Museum of the Dog is located at: 1721 S. Mason Rd., St. Louis MO 63131. Click here for more info about the AKC Museum of the Dog. Temperament Testing This year's Temperament Test is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Purina Farms in Grey Summit, MO. The Spirit of St. Louis Samoyed Club is proud to host this annual temperament trial sanctioned by the American Temperament Test Society, Inc. You can print out a registration form from the ATTS web site. You can also contact Carl Herkstroeter at herkcc@att.net for more information. Annual Club Barbeque Our Annual Club Barbeque will be held on a date in August yet to be determined. Dogs are welcome unless it is raining or excessively hot. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Canine Games The 14th Annual Spirit of St. Louis Canine Games will be held this fall at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO! Please check back for schedule information. See our Canine Games Page for entry and event information. Holiday Banquet and Auction This fun family event is a club favorite. With a live auction, food, drink and prizes, it's sure to warm the heart of any Sammy enthusiast. This annual event will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011. The Banquet will be held at the AKC Museum of the Dog, 1721 S. Mason Rd., St. Louis MO 63131, in the Constellation Room from 6-10 p.m. Special Events: Come back again for the latest information! |
